...but some have more "it" than others

Here in the UK the "sick note" is now referred as the "Fit Note". It is completed by the Doctor and one sends it to the employer to state what is wrong with you and when you are fit for work.
I got to thinking what if we, the workers, were to complete a "Fit Note for the employer"?
The reason why the employer is not fit to be an employer.
They pay too little.
Demand instead of ask.
Complain when we question an instruction and claim I am being "obstructive" when I point out I can't do a job because I have not received any training.
State I need to "wake up and smell the coffee" because we are "all in this together", then walk off to get into their company executive class Merc in its own reserved place next to the front door and I walk off in the rain to my fifteen year old blue Ford hatch with one red door parked in the corner blocked in by another old car.

Yes. We are all in it together but some have more "it" than others

Governors of immoral laws

Its ironic to note since the introduction of the internet and the immeasurable amount of information available at ones finger tips we, as a whole, are less informed. What I mean is to say is - the 'net is used extensively for "pleasure" activities, on line gaming etc.
At the same time ordinary people, like you and I, are under increasing pressure to do more and earn less. In America it has been a long tradition through necessity to have two, three or four part time jobs. Here in Britain we too are working longer, starting earlier and finishing later and then doing a “little job” in the local pub or shop. In my case I worked as a cleaner on nights in a factory on minimum wage. Its was a very interesting job. Not least because some people looked down on me. Not just the managers in their white collar and company tie, but fellow, minimum wage “colleagues”. You see cleaners are invisible. They don’t count and they are bottom of the pile. That is until there is a mess to be sorted.
This work ethic is not because we love working or because we like to socialize but through the need to pay bills and put food on the table.
In the USA at the moment Republican Governors ( supported by some Democrats ) are pushing through legislation to remove … remove … . the democratic rights to collective bargaining of Public Sector workers. Teachers, Fire Fighters, Police, Council workers, care workers.
That’s right, elected men and women putting legislation into law that workers who work in and for their local communities should be denied the RIGHT to collective bargaining.
Thankfully the workers effected ( supported by many not effected ) have asked their unions to support their fight to PROTECT these rights. Tens of thousands of ordinary people, mothers, fathers, retired and students alike have mobilized across the States, coast to coast, from North to South to STOP this Right wing attack on workers and communities.
This is not a fair fight.
On one side, the single parent, the teacher, the road cleaner, the telephone guy, the fire fighter and all the thousands of ordinary people who have little or no money left after paying their bills and struggle every day to make ends meet.
On the other. The “elite” rich. Who never need to worry where their next meal or gallon of gas will come from. The Rich Ones care little of the ordinary people like you or I. Why should they, they don’t know we exist, nor do they want to know. The workers, the ordinary people who toil in the community are invisible to The Rich Ones.

The Governors pushing this unethical and immoral legislation have under estimated the “Moms and Dads” of America. These ordinary people with ordinary jobs when pushed will do extra ordinary things when it comes to protecting the one thing they will put their lives on the line for. Their Children. Like Lions protecting their cubs Moms and Dads together with Grand parents and family and their community will fight both fair and foul to protect their off spring.
This ANTI WORKER legislation is not just about todays workers. Its about the workers of tomorrow. Our children will grow to teach and clean and maintain our communities.
The Governors of Immoral Laws have picked on a group that no one should ever cross.
Ordinary people with children and communities to protect.

May I state to all Moms and Dads of America - I am in awe of your tanacity and wish you well in your struggle. Be assured we in Britain are with you. For where the USA leads the Ministers of Immoral Aclts in our Parliment follow.

Governors of Immoral Acts we give you fair warning. The Lions are on the prowl.
